Lowers chemo drug levels, potentially reducing anticancer efficacy.

Green Tea Extract (EGCG)

Green tea/EGCG can inactivate bortezomib and may interfere with some chemo — discuss with oncologist.

N-Acetylcysteine (NAC)

Antioxidant NAC may theoretically protect tumor cells and blunt oxidative chemo/radiation — consult oncologist.

Selenium

High-dose selenium antioxidant may theoretically alter chemo/radiation efficacy or toxicity — consult oncologist.

Vitamin C

High-dose antioxidant vitamin C may theoretically reduce some chemo/radiation efficacy — discuss with oncologist.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

High-dose vitamin E may theoretically interfere with oxidative chemo/radiation — discuss with oncologist.
