Glycyrrhizin raises blood pressure and opposes antihypertensive therapy.
Yohimbine raises blood pressure and heart rate, opposing antihypertensive therapy.
Caution — use only with medical guidance 3
Green tea sharply reduces nadolol absorption (~85%), blunting its BP-lowering effect.
May add to BP-lowering and vasodilator drugs, risking hypotension.
L-arginine can lower blood pressure and may add to antihypertensive drugs, risking hypotension.
Monitor — watch for effects 2
Dietary nitrate may add to BP-lowering drugs, risking mild hypotension.
Garlic may modestly lower blood pressure, adding to antihypertensive drugs.
