Evidence-Backed Supplements for Longevity and Healthy Aging

No supplement is proven to extend human lifespan, and the longevity field is full of bold claims resting on cell or animal data. Here we grade what the human evidence actually shows for the compounds and nutrient-dense whole foods (like nuts) studied for healthy-aging markers — from antioxidants and NAD⁺ precursors to fungi and polyphenols. The strongest levers for healthy aging remain diet, exercise, sleep and not smoking; treat everything below as educational, not anti-aging advice.

Best-supported here: Almond (Moderate), Cashew (Moderate), Coenzyme Q10 (Moderate), Ginkgo Biloba (Mixed) — each graded below by the weight of human evidence.
